Look, we didn't start Anderson & Associates to build the biggest senior living operation in Porto. We started it because we got tired of seeing families stressed out about finding a place where their parents would actually be happy. Our whole thing is simple: treat residents like people, not like schedules. We've been doing this for 19 years now, and honestly? We still get excited when someone walks through our doors and just... relaxes. That's the whole point. You're not just getting a place to live. You're getting neighbors who get it, staff who actually show up (same people, every day), and a place where boredom isn't an option.

Our Story
Back in 2005, Maria and João Anderson were looking for a place for João's mother. They visited 12 facilities. Hated all of them. So they decided to build what they wished existed. Started with a converted townhouse on Rua do Carmo. Twelve residents. One chef who actually cared about making food people wanted to eat. Grew slowly because we refused to cut corners. Today we've got 47 residents across our community, but we still know everyone's name, their coffee order, and their grandkids' names. Haven't changed much, honestly.
